This elegant brooch in the shape of a horseshoe comes from the period of historicism by approx. 1870-1880 and is adorned with garnets of various sizes. The brooch is probably intended as a hat pin, it also has a pin with chain as a safety device.
The dark red color of the stones is indescribably beautiful and almost magical in the light! It is very difficult to pass on the real beauty of the brooch in the photos. In reality it is much nicer and more alive!
